For the "Swiss Army knife" of Berkshire resources, visit our BerkshireLinks network site BerkshireMap.com, where you'll find four interactive Google maps:
We've added two new interactive pages with built-in Google maps that you may find useful and maybe even just fun to play around with. You can find them listed as "Get directions" and "Berkshires geocode" under "Berkshire county" in our navigation menu atop every page.
The "Get directions" page lets you plan your Berkshires road trip by plotting your starting point and your destination, then by simply clicking a button, you'll get step-by-step driving directions.
When you first visit the page, you'll see that it is setup to show the general Berkshires region. You can modify that and plan a trip just about anywhere by using the pan and zoom controls found on the map.

The "Berkshires geocode" lets you click anywhere on the map and get the latitude and longitude for that location. As with the "Get directions" map, it is setup to show the Berkshires, but you can pan and zoom to any location you want to geocode.
